The Realtime VoIP Community

Thanks to everyone for the comments, links and overall support we've seen here on the blog. We're seeing a steady increase in use as we keep adding to our efforts here.

We've noticed a couple of things. There are many people who also read via the Realtime VoIP Community, but there are a lot of people who haven't joied over there. I thought it might be worth pointing out that joining the community is free. It's not required, but there are some differences.

If you don't join the Realtime VoIP Community, you get access to:

  • This blog and the conversation that ensues here.
  • The Realtime VoIP Community podcasts (also on iTunes now)
  • A glimpse of the latest articles in the Realtime VoIP Community Reading Room
  • The first response and blog comments to any of the AskKen questions submitted by readers.
If you choose to spend a few minutes completing the free registration, you also gain access to:
  • The complete Realtime VoIP Community Reading Room, including the monthly articles and white papers that are added regularly. You get the full papers, which you can download in electronic form to read at your leisure;
  • Sponsor contributed papers;
  • Resource links, including blogs, white papers, videos, etc.;
  • Full access to all the discussion forums. These areas are a resource for some ongoing dialogue to some of the AskKen questions. The other forum areas include discussions on design, vendor solutions, Quality of Service and VoIP security. It's an open place for conversation.
  • More to come. We've anticipated adding user written content as well. If any readers would like to contribute a paper to the community for sharing, we can easily incorporate that into the site.
It doesn't cost anything to join, and if you're looking for a little more information than is available here in the blog, you may find it there. Come check us out.
