Info Australia: ACIF Fact Sheet for VoIP Providers - Emergency Services

The Australian Communications Industry Forum (ACIF) is an industry group of interested parties in the telecom sector.

They've just released their Second ACIF Fact Sheet for VoIP Providers - Emergency Services

The Access to Emergency Services for users of VoIP and Internet Telephony Fact Sheet spells out a set of procedures for VoIP providers that if followed will assist emergency services locate the source of an incoming VoIP call.

This fact sheet is the second in the series of ACIF information sheets focusing on VoIP.  The fact sheet is now available in soft copy by clicking here.

For readers down under, this is a good insight document into VoIP and Emergency Services in Australia.
