Residential VoIP

An interesting blurb on residential VoIP penetration in the US. I'm not certain I trust that number or how accurate the statistical sample is. My own sampling puts residential penetration far lower. Consider your own extended family and friends - aunts and uncles, parents and grandparents, teachers, church friends, scout troop parents. Do you see one in five as residential VoIP users?

18% of Americans use residential VOIP by ZDNet's ZDNet Research -- Jon Arnold quotes some ChangeWave data on residential VOIP that has quite a few statistical factoids. 18% of Americans use a consumer VoIP service.
