eComm - THE Emerging Communications Conference

I'm doing some follow up posting for our good friend Lee Dryburgh. Lee's the guy who out of his burning passion for the unified communications industry pulled together eComm last year. Many of you will recall the stream of about 13 live podcast chats  I posted with people there. Sheryl and I weren't able to get there last year due to scheduling issues.

If you follow the worled of emerging communications, you havfe to know that eComm is the event that's definiing the post-telecom era. The world communicates differently today and the old legacy telcos are quickly being left as a distant memory. They're relics of the past and don't really have a viable place in the communications world of today.

eComm

Lee has assembled a staggering group of speakers and participants, and this event promists to be one of the best events the industry has ever seen. It's being held at the San Francisco Airport Marriott, an excellent conference site, from March 3rd through 5th.
What is eComm?

Cataclysmic change is facing the multi-trillion dollar telecom industry:

  • Telecom is becoming software
  • The cash cows of telephony and SMS will dry up long term
  • "Phones" are turning into general purpose computers
  • Applications innovation is being democratized
  • The media industry is converging with personal communications
  • Search engines and computer manufactures are encroaching into the space
  • The telecom kingdom is fragmenting daily.

It means unprecedented opportunity for those ahead-of-the-curve.

When you click the link to register, be sure to enter the promo code 'KenCamp' (case-sensitive). This will deducts 20% off the cost. For the Super Early Bird ticket brings the price down to just $952.

Sheryl and I are pulling out all the stops to be there, and we look forward to meeting you there.
