New from Gizmo Project - Integrate other IM Contacts

I traded some email notes with Michael Robertson the other day about some new things in Gizmo that have been unfolding. I shared a peek in Gizmo on the Nokia N95 on Friday, but here's another reminder.

Gizmo has added the ability to add your AIM and MSN IM contacts. Yahoo!, iChat and Jabber contacts are in the works and will be added soon. In the screenshot below, you can see a new bot highlighted in blue. I've opened the Gizmo call drawer to point out that this is now available to add contacts on other IM systems.

For me, this reinforces the wisdom of settling on Gizmo as my primary IM tool. I still use Gtalk for convenience inside Firefox (via an extension) and on the N800, where it's built in and so darned easy, but when I want to make calls, IM and generally be available, Gizmo is more and more becoming my personal VoIP platform of choice.

Ken, I'm getting duplicates of most, if not all, of your rss feeds.

Thanks,
Rick

Thanks for confirming Rick. I had some odd problem start causing that yesterday and I've been muddling through. I think I figured it out and ahve it under control now.
