Realtime Unified Communications Giveaway - Compliments of Actiontec

For those of you who read here regularly, here comes a first. You know I evaluate products and solutions when possible. Generally evalation gear comes with the assumption that it will be returned to the solution provider once evaluations are completed.

A while back I tested the VoSKYChatterbox Speakerphone and the VoSKY Exchange Call Center. In coordinating the return of these items, the good folks at Actiontec have worked with their PR team and agreed to let me give these two products away to readers here in the Realtime Unified Communications Community. Thanks Lesley and Lauren!

So here's the deal. Leave public comment here letting me know you want one or the other. They won't both go to the same person. Make sure you leave an email address and a note as to why you think you need the item. The first request that makes sense for each will be the winner. I'll contact you myself to arrange shipping.

There's a catch. I'm going to ask the two recipients to agree to send me an email after they've installed and set the solutions up that they must agree to having posted as a follow-up product review from a user. If you aren't willing to leave email, or aren't committed to writing up a brief overview of your experience (it doesn't have to be a huge, detailed review), then you aren't eligible.

There's another catch - If you're a blogger in the unified communications sector in any way, count yourself out. My intent is to openly and fairly put these evaluation units into the hands of users...customers...the general business community.

How's that for a Wednesday wakeup?

Hey Ken, sorry I missed this opportunity originally. I'd love to participate! I'm beginning to use Skype more due to their firewall friendliness. Yahoo! has not gotten through several times for me.

Would love the offer,
Rick

Forgot, I'm interested in the speakerphone.

You got it Rick. I'll send you email to get your address and get it shipped to you.
