Virtual eComm Podcast with Surj Patel

I couldn't make it to eComm this week in Moutain View. I wish I could. Thanks to good friends, I was able to arrange a series of phone calls from friends and colleages at the conference so you all can come with me on a Virtual eComm conference.

eComm2008

In this podcast, I chat wit Surj Patel. Surj was one of the drivers of ETel, the predecessor to this new eComm event. His focus on the attendees and giving them the opportunity to show their stuff and work together created a dynamic event that set the bar higher for conferences. And while he will always downplay his own genius, Surj is one of the  brightest guys we'll ever meet

Surj is now busy at GigaOm creating new events and conferences. You'll hear on the call that he mentions a new conference event he's working on. Rest assured, I'll b e talking with Surj about that in detail in the near future. I'll be there and we'll watch what's coming.

In the meantime, please join me in and listen to my conversation with Surj Patel live at eComm.
