Realtime Unified Communications Podcast Interview with Craig Walker at GrandCentral

Earlier today I had the pleasure of chatting with GrandCentral founder Craig Walker on the telephone. I've talked about GrandCentral here before, most recently in detail in Grand Central Update. While I had seen some value in the application, I reqlly questioned whether I was a good fit. But determined to keep an open mind, I've spent some time configuring and customizing it.

Perhaps the biggest change in mindset for me came when I built what in Web 2.0 terms would best be described as a user-driven mashup between GrandCentral and Sitofono. You can read about that in Click-to-Call Ken. I've always felt Craig and the GrandCentral team did a great job and fine work, but I've begun to see value in some new ways. Perhaps in ways GrandCentral can easily augment other tools.

This podcast is a 30+ minute telephone conversation with Craig this morning talking about the service and some of his ideas on where things are headed.
