Gary Reichert at Siemens talks to Realtime Unified Communications

Yesterday Siemens announced an alliance with Intel that got quite a bit of press coverage. I wrote about it here. One thing that stuck me was that every post, including mine, was the same. They were all just the press release pasted into a news article or blog post. I didn't like that so with the coordination help from the great PR folks that work with Siemens, today I bring you a bit more information.

This morning I spoke on the phone with Gary Reichert. Gary's the Vice President of Alliances and Business Development with  Siemens Enterprise Communications. These are the folks that bring us the HiPath8000 and the OpenScape Management System. Gary took time from his busy day to talk about the alliance, some tof the plans ahead and where Siemens and Intel are moving together. It's a great insight into this alliance and you won't find it anywhere else.
