Nokia N80i sample pics to start

Yesterday I got the Nokia N80i, the Internet Edition phone for testing. I charged it up and have been getting the base operating environment set. I'm using it now for reading some email, browsing the web, Flickr photos, Lifeblog, podcast listening, text messaging (Twitter), and more.

In short, the phone is sweet. It feels a bit petite in my large hands, but I'm starting to explore what it an do a bit.

One early observation - the WiFi setup and use feels more crisp than on the N93. And below are a few sample pics. The camera isn't as high quality as the N93, but I think once I get comfortable with it, it will do nicely. I'll do another photo comparison post including all the Nokia N-series that I have for fair comparision.

This phone includes not just WiFi, but SIP support and some pretty intriguing integration with Gizmo for placing VoIP Internet calls as well. I'll be testing that out and doing some more extensive writeup on that capacity here.

Here are a few quick sample photos from this morning.
