Mediatrix Telecom Expands Compatibility with Nortel Communication and Application Servers Companies Verify Product Compatibility to interconnect the new Mediatrix 4100 Series across the Nortel Application Server 5200 and Communication Server 2000
Sherbrooke, QUEBEC, September 17, 2007 – Nortel and Mediatrix Telecom, the leader in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) access devices and gateways, have completed jointinteroperability tests verifying the compatibility of Mediatrix’ VoIP gateway and access devicesolutions with Nortel’s application and communication server solutions. This product compatibility enables mutual Mediatrix and Nortel Networks customers to seamlessly operate both solutions together in any telecommunications network environment.

The interoperability events tested Mediatrix 4100 Series of VoIP Access Devices, in both the SIP and MGCP Protocols, with Nortel’s Release SN09 of the Communication Server 2000 (CS 2000). The SIP version was also tested with the Nortel Application Server 5200(AS 5200). The same test success has been achieved for the Mediatrix 1100 Series gateways using both SIP and MGCP Protocols
