News Release: snom technology Announces Launch of International Partner Program for Distributors and VARs

snom technology Announces Launch of International Partner Program for Distributors and VARs

BERLIN, GERMANY and DALLAS – July 23, 2007 – snom technology, developer and manufacturer of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) telephones, today announced the launch of its partner program for distributors and value-added resellers (VARs). The purpose of this program is to give snom and its partners the necessary tools to provide snom customers worldwide with an optimal level of service.

With this program, snom distributors will be classified into three categories (distributors, gold distributors, platinum distributors) dependent upon their capabilities in selling snom VoIP phones in various system configurations:

• Distributors will receive a Web page listing and second level support.
• Gold distributors will receive the same benefits as distributors and will also take part in special annual training sessions and receive industry-specific marketing support.
• Platinum partners will receive the same benefits as gold distributors and also have access to direct technical support.

All partners will have access to firmware updates before their official release and to new products while they are still in the beta phase. VARs will be classified as either registered or certified.

"We have had plans to strengthen partnerships with our resellers for quite some time. This program will help to establish clear prerequisites for partners interested in working with snom,” said Michael Knieling, CFO and executive vice president of marketing and sales for snom. "In the end, the result will be higher transparency for our customers as well as for specialist dealers and system integrators in regards to the capabilities of our distribution partners.”

Partners will attend regular annual training sessions. For the remainder of 2007, training sessions are scheduled to take place in Berlin; Dallas; Johannesburg, South Africa; Madrid, Spain; Montreal; Rome; and Toronto. snom will also offer training, including tests, for distributors and specialist dealers through Webinars.

snom will be exhibiting at IP Sizzles 2007 in Dallas, July 23-26. Additional information on IP Sizzles can be found at www.abptech.com/ipsizzles2007.
