Skip2PBX inks deal with Quidigal !
Greece can connect Skype to PBX !
Skip2PBX, the software for connecting Skype to company PBXs, designed and manufactured by PC Service in Umbria (Italy), has signed an exclusive distribution deal with QUIDIGAL LTD, that runs Greece’s major “Skype-Store” skypestore.gr. Quidigal has established itself as a frontrunner among technology savvy companies looking to implement the latest VoIP toys into serious applications in a business context.
Quidigal, the company that also runs VoIPDepot.co.uk in the United Kingdom, adopted Skip2PBX after a string of positive test results peaked their interest in using Skip2PBX in pre-built Skype PBX Gateways for integrating existing office systems with Skype’s dramatic money-saving tactics.
Skypestore.gr and VoIPDepot.co.uk are run by the Ecommerce division of Quidigal, a privately owned company with corporate offices in London. Quidigal develops, markets and distributes a complete line of VoIP and Skype products from solutions for home users, small and medium businesses and enterprise markets. Building on years of broadband VoIP expertise, their world-class development and marketing teams distribute the latest and most compelling products while providing effective solutions at affordable prices. Quidigal’s Business Services division also provides consulting services to SMBs upwards. These services range from VoIP and IT Solutions, to OSS applications, and application specific software development. Their quick growth has been attributed to a constant focus on customer needs, attention to user experience, and an eye towards product innovation.
Skip2PBX was developed and marketed by PC Service, a very keen and aware Italian company with offices in Perugia, Terni and Pistoia, with the precise objective of creating a way for companies to safely integrate Skype with their office systems. Many CEOs had either the need to forward or manage calls in a cost effective way, and Skype certainly presented the most attractive bottom line ( i.e. a zero!) between long distance or international locations, but this was somewhat complicated in the past by the requirements of maintaining close watch of company call records and other statistics, while wanting a network-secure manner in which employees could communicate for free, but without the lures of “Chat” or video features on company time.
Skip2PBX is rapidly gaining favour as an implementation of choice among serious business endeavors, and this is largely due to its powerful design (with a modified Linux core) that outclasses existing Microsoft options, (Who else can run up to 30 simultaneous lines? ), a perpetually active team of technical developers who iron out existing problems and add to the software’s already impressive list of unique and special features (such as an Automatic Free-Line detection which can find and ring the next available extension in a company’s exchange even when the callers are all selecting the same Skype account (or calling to it by clicking a push-button on their company’s website.)...and keeping their product technologically up to speed.(witness SIP support, which is slated to arrive in September 07!)
Quidigal’s Skypestore.gr has capitalized on this opportunity and taken the initiative to secure an exclusive market with a formidable future, bringing Skip2PBX to a waiting, eager, and ever-growing number of companies in Greece, (as well as in the UK). Businesspeople in Greece will now find an easily accessible avenue through which to take advantage of the immense savings and substantial support which this particular product has to offer.
