News Release: T-Online France Deploys Visionael to Automate Delivery of Services to Residential Customers

Visionael has been showing up on my radar more and more frequently lately. I'm not sure whether they're increasing activity or if I'm a bit more attuned to international happenings lately. It's probably a mix of the two.

Here's a release about T-Online France deploying Visionael’s Network Resource Manager (NRM) to automate and effectively manage their delivery of ever-changing IPTV, VoIP and data services to residential customers.

T-Online France chose NRM to help them quickly and easily deploy customized triple play services, which is critical in an industry where competition is fierce among ISPs, Alternative Carriers and Cable MSOs.

Palo Alto, Calif. – June 13, 2007 – Visionael Corporation, a leading provider of next-generation service automation and delivery management software and services, today announced that T-Online France has selected Visionael’s Network Resource Manager (NRM) to automate delivery of its triple play services to residential customers. T-Online France deployed Visionael’s NRM to establish an essential foundation for effectively managing video, voice and data services that are in a state of constant change due to fierce competitive pressures.

With the Visionael solution, T-Online France was able to use open interfaces to its CRM, Billing and activation systems to enable rapid delivery of new value-added services with both a high level customization and quality of service. This is critical in the French market, where its competition for Triple Play services includes ISPs, Alternative Carriers and Cable MSOs. T-Online France signed the deal with Visionael in November 2005 because its most significant challenge lay in automating the rapid roll out of multiple services, including VoIP, IPTV, and Data Services with increased accuracy and efficiency.

Visionael’s solution also enables T-Online’s France customers to go directly to the website to subscribe for services. Now, T-Online France users can select IPTV or VoIP services or increase their DSL speed, and the service will be delivered without manual central office provisioning or a truck roll for on-site installation. This requires less manpower and has significantly reduced operating expenses for T-Online France.

“T-Online France needed a flexible, field-proven product that would allow our services to evolve as our customer base continues to grow,” said Claude Glacet, CIO of T-Online France. “With Visionael, it was possible to customize just what we needed in order to better meet the needs of our customers.”

Visionael's Network Resource Manager (NRM) provides T-Online France with a scalable system to collaborate network design and documentation. NRM includes all of the tools necessary to capture and maintain a comprehensive database of the network infrastructure. As the T-Online France IT department works to execute against IT driven business goals Visionael’s NRM provides the tools to do it faster, better, and more cost effectively.

“We are very pleased that T-Online France chose Visionael for automating the delivery of triple play services to its customers,” said Craig Nichols, president and CEO of Visionael. “Their successful deployment demonstrates Visionael’s ability to successfully be the centerpiece for providing rapid and automated triple-play services to market for larger broadband service providers.”
