Here's some news about a new partner program from ShoreTel.

ShoreTel Extends the Capabilities of IP Communications with Introduction of Technology Partner Program
Program Enables Third-Party Technologies to Easily Integrate with ShoreTel's IP Communications Platform

SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 25, 2007 - ShoreTel, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise IP telephony solutions, today announced the ShoreTel Technology Partner Program, a new program that offers an ecosystem of technology partners whose complementary products extend the capabilities available to customers of ShoreTel's IP telephony system. This program highlights ShoreTel's commitment to customer satisfaction by providing customers with additional hardware and software options that enhance their overall communications infrastructure and more fully leverage their network and voice system investment.

"Best-practice IP communications implementation includes tight integration with enterprise IT infrastructure and applications," said Steve Timmerman, ShoreTel's vice president of marketing. "This program allows us to achieve this vision by offering our customers partners and technologies they can leverage to take best advantage of the ShoreTel IP telephony system."

ShoreTel's Technology Partner Program enables businesses to maximize the investment in their converged network. With this program, ShoreTel customers can find and utilize the open interfaces of the ShoreTel system with partner-provided solutions across the enterprise. Already, solutions that provide secure SIP interoperability from Ingate Systems, Inc., hospitality messaging from DuVoice Corp., and call recording from Telrex, Inc. have been certified. With the Technology Partner Program's ready-built integration documentation, customers have the information they need to quickly integrate these solutions into their communications infrastructure.

"ShoreTel's Technology Partner Program helps to speed customer deployments because it serves as a single resource for products like Ingate's SIParator(r) and SIP trunking solutions that are seamlessly interoperable with the ShoreTel IP-PBX," said Steven Johnson, president, Ingate Systems. "We are proud to add our award-winning products to the ShoreTel community of SIP-based VoIP solutions."

Membership into the program requires all companies to pass ShoreTel's interoperability certification testing in ShoreTel's test lab. Further, all partners are required to provide integration documentation that makes it easy for customers to leverage these solutions in their networks and in their business. These policies make ShoreTel's Technology Partner Program a win for organizations seeking a flexible, scalable and customizable communications system that can be integrated with their enterprise infrastructure solutions.

Partners participating in ShoreTel's new program enjoy many advantages, including individual listing on ShoreTel's online partner product catalog, use of the ShoreTel Technology Partner logo in the market place, collateral opportunities, and interface briefings on changes to maintain compatibility and interoperability. Moreover, partners receive invitations to join ShoreTel's Channel Partner Summit, market with ShoreTel at industry leading events and host product information Webinars for ShoreTel resellers.

ShoreTel's Technology Partner Program members include: DuVoice Corp.; Ingate Systems, Inc.; Mediatrix Telecom, Inc.; Morgen Industries, Inc.; Telrex, Inc. and others. For more information about ShoreTel's Technology Partner Program, please visit http://www.shoretel.com/partners/technology/.
