News Release: Acme Packet Introduces Net-ASSURE Portfolio of Premium Professional Services

Acme Packet probably first to a center stage spot among the companies I watch closely when I talked with them about a VON Magazine article on enterprise VoIP security. I've stayed in touch, spoken with them regularly, and followed their progress since. They'll be participating in a panel I'm moderating at the ITExpo in September and I'm looking forward to meeting in person and doing a podcast update from the event.

This morning, Acme Packet announced a new professional services program, Net-ASSURE, (Assist, Support, Scale, Upgrade, Recommend, Evaluate), a new portfolio of premium professional services designed to optimize the Net-Net® session border controller’s (SBC) delivery of trusted, first-class interactive IP communication services. Acme Packet’s Net-ASSURE program facilitates its customers’ ability to advance the introduction of IP communication services, whether they are introducing an initial Voice over IP (VoIP) offering or deploying advanced IMS-based communication services.

For many business, professional services are vital to the success of their implementations. The in-house expertise is always a challenge with a new technology. I see this addition as really adding to the depth or service Acme Packet brings to customers.
