New Skip2PBX version 2.0.1 is out

Here's some update news on the latest Skip2PBX release that I got in my email this morning.

NEW & even further IMPROVED Skip2PBX version 2.0.1 (NOW AVAILABLE)
ONCE AGAIN… Supports USB BOXes!
  • Improved Audio Quality (Audio Buffer has been increased.)
  • Audio no longer interrupts and the “stuttering” effect is gone.
  • Latency has been reduced to a mere 10ths of a second.
  • Voice delays have been reduced to approx. 0.1-0.2 seconds
  • Reduced echo effects on FXO & FXS lines.
  • Less strain on the CPU! Improved algorithms which balance the load between the processor and Skype.
  • Support for the new Zaptel cards: added native support for TDM800P and TE120P.
We realize that the return and improvements regarding the ability to utilize USB boxes with Skip2PBX is a great convenience and has been a highly anticipated and requested feature from our support team.

Additional updates are currently in development which will support
  • SIP to Skype Gateway.
among other improvements. These updates will also be immediately on your web interface.
