Jeff Bonforte - Yahoo VP

Andy posted this yesterday and I neglected to comment.

Jeff Bonforte Is A Vice President Now

Just in time for his wedding, Jeff Bonforte at Yahoo has earned the stripes and been promoted to Vice President.

I've spoken on panels with Jeff in the past, had dinner with him, and heard him speak. If you haven't listened to his talk at the O'Reilly ETel conference, I recorded and posted it here as a special episode podcast.

Several people refer to eff as a rising rock start at Yahoo. My view's a little different. I see Jeff's as Yahoo's great hope to achieve relevance. I think Yahoo has slipped and lost relevance in the market over the past year. Jeff's the guy who can help get them on track. I hope in this new role they really listen to what he has to say.
