NetLogic® and Dialexia® Announce Interoperability
Dialexia’s Dial-Office IP-PBX Receives PBX-Preferred Certification from NetLogic
Montreal, QC and St. Louis, MO – March 5, 2007 – Dialexia, an award-winning manufacturer of softswitches, IP-PBX and Hosted PBX services for small and medium-sized businesses, and NetLogic, an ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) and leading provider of Quality of Service (QoS) Business-Class VoIP services, today announced full interoperability for their combined business solutions.
Customers can chose from a range of toll-quality VoIP dialing plans from NetLogic, and connect to them through a next generation Dialexia telephone system at their office. Dial-Office will provide all the call handling and routing functionality a business needs to operate more efficiently and to present a more professional image. By deploying a solution featuring NetLogic and Dialexia, customers are able to reduce telecommunications charges and gain access to enhanced network services.
For companies that have an established Local Area Network (LAN), Dial-Office is the ideal IP based PBX solution. Dial-Office is an Internet alternative to the traditional circuit-switched enterprise phone system. It lets service providers deliver all of the features that companies are accustomed to in full-featured PBX systems without the associated high costs. It handles internal calls, connects users to the worldwide phone network and sets up and manages their users and resources while offering a seamless integration of voice, data and video using a simple configuration and management tool.
“We are continuously striving to cooperate with our partners in the areas of research and development. Having completed interoperability testing, the combined Dialexia/NetLogic offering now presents a variety of integrated local and long distance services that we can now supply to our clients." said Mohamed El-Mohri, Co-founder and CTO, Dialexia Communications.
“We are pleased to recognize Dialexia with our highest PBX-Preferred Certification as a Partner,” said Mike Morey, president and CEO of NetLogic. “Our reciprocal certifications ensure users of Dialexia IP PBX systems the highest quality voice-optimized VoIP connections over NetLogic’s connections.”
The NetLogic PBX-Preferred Certification program recognizes next generation IPBX software and systems that do not require traditional telephone interfaces such as PRI, Digital T1, or Analog lines. Instead, there is a direct interface to the certified IPBX solution via VoIP; hence the connection is IP end to end, resulting in superior call quality.
The NetLogic PBX-Preferred Certification program is based on rigorous testing of applicable IPBX software and systems, which includes:About Dialexia
- Bench testing to ensure proper SIP trunk connectivity and quality.
- Beta testing in the field with actual business users over NetLogic SIP trunks.
- Implementing in a "general availability" environment with NetLogic SIP trunks.
