A Must Read - Hacking VoIP Exposed

I've been woefull slow to mention this, but it surely warrants some visibility.

McGraw-Hill Publishes `Hacking Exposed: VoIP' Book Co-Authored by TippingPoint and SecureLogix Experts

Internationally Best-Selling Security Book Series Reveals VoIP Security Threats, Secrets and Solutions

AUSTIN, Texas & SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TippingPoint and SecureLogix today announced the release of “Hacking ExposedTM VoIP: Voice Over IP Security Secrets and Solutions,” published by McGraw-Hill and co-authored by TippingPoint Director of Security Research David Endler and SecureLogix Chief Technology Officer Mark Collier.

This new book focuses on the specific threats to enterprise voice over IP (VoIP) networks, and is the latest addition to McGraw-Hill’s internationally best-selling Hacking ExposedTM network security book series. The series aims to educate network security practitioners by detailing actual strategies, tactics, and weapons used by hackers to penetrate corporate data networks. A companion website with free security diagnostic tools can be found at www.hackingvoip.com.
Mark and David are two of the leading voices in VoIIP security and they definitely know their business. David's heavily involved in leading VOIPSA too. I haven't read the book yet myself, but having published with McGraw-Hill in the past, I know what a huge effort their work entails. I've seen many favorable reviews and comments. I'd expect nothing but stellar work from those two guys. They're on top of the game. I did note on Mark's blog that there's a sample chapter online at http://www.hackingvoip.com/sample.html. That excerpt has a lot of information.

Their book is on my *must read* list.
