Pandora Networks Expands Business Advisory Board With Four Industry Veterans

New Appointments Assist Shaping Long-Term Strategy and Key Partnerships

EMERYVILLE, CA, November 14, 2006 — Pandora Networks, a provider of hosted IP communication services for small to medium-sized business (SMB), announced today the expansion of its advisory board with four new members including industry veterans: Edward Birchfield, Mohanjit Jolly, Charles Nahabedian and Thomas Persons.

Pandora's expanded Business Advisory Board brings together entrepreneurs, executive managers and investment veterans to provide guidance in shaping the long-term strategies and goals of the company.

The Business Advisory Board in alphabetical order includes:

  • Edward Birchfield is managing director and founder of Eton Partners, a retained executive search firm that works with private equity funds for the senior executive search needs of their portfolio companies. He is a successful entrepreneur with experience in founding and growing technology companies -- from early stage start-ups to emerging growth companies and more mature firms. Previously, he was the co-founder of ADTRAN and has held senior position with Nortel.
  • Mohanjit Jolly is managing director with Garage Technology Ventures. Jolly has passionately worked with technology startups as an investor and advisor for the last eight years.
  • Charles Nahabedian is an executive, consultant and entrepreneur with experience ranging from small company to Fortune 50 environments, with turn-a-round, change-agent, team-building and advisor experience. With U.S. and international experience, he has developed corporate strategies and significant business agreements with major organizations. Previously, he held senior positions at AT&T and Bell Labs, and currently teaches entrepreneurship and innovation management courses in Fairleigh Dickenson's MBA program.
  • Thomas E. Persons, Sr. is president and CEO of the South Carolina Technology Alliance and publisher of The Terabyte, a technology newsletter that covers the technology news in South Carolina. In addition to serving on the business boards of SailSC.com, Black Rivers Ventures, LLC, Downi Creations, Formosa Rose Bank Holding Co., Factory Systems, Inc., Rilex Technologies, LLC, and WP Media, Inc., he is a founding member of the International Center for Birds of Prey. Previously, he has held senior positions with AT&T/Lucent, after retiring with 30 years he was one of founders of Affinity Technology Group, Inc. and helped raise $60 million for their IPO. He served as EVP and was also a board member.
