Realtime Unified Communications Podcast Chat with Sanjay Jhawar at BridgePort Networks

Earlier today I had a chance to chat with Sanjay Jhawar, Senior VP of Marketing and Business Development at BridgePort Networks. If you're new to the Realtime community, you might click back to this interview I did with Sanjay several months ago.

BridgePort Networks is a really interesting company. While they certainly play in IMS space with their offerings, I've been watching some huge successes in their fixed mobile convergence (FMC) work. In particular, they've seen some really powerful success with their MobileSTICK USB-SIM solution. The recently gained another $13 million in VC financing.

This chat was a chance to catch up on how they've been progressing, and to check on on the Siemens alliance and MobileIGNITE initiative. Sanjay makes some really interesting points and drops a teaser about a coming announcement that you'll all hear on Monday.

I'm also pretty excited about the MobileSTICK technology Sanjay describes in detail durin gour chat. I learned this evening that a few of these are going to be made available for testing and I'm looking forward to using one of these myself.
