Big Congrats to iotum

I accidentally posted this prematurely. I'd misread when the dinner was and sort of spilled it. I did remove the post and hold off, reposting here now that I see Alec posted it too. That explains why I hadn't yet seen it online anywhere. Still, I want to send congratulations to my friend Alec Saunders and the rest of the team at iotum. I just got this great news. For those of you who haven't seen it, I interviewed Alec here and had mopre to say here.

At the CATA Alliances annual Awards Dinner tonight, iotum, developer of the Relevance Engine, has been selected as the “Best Emerging Technology of the Year” in Canada.

As one of the eight CATA Award Winners, iotum is being recognized for its development of the Relevance Engine platform, as well as its intelligent call filtering, prioritizing and routing application and it’s Pronto Conference Calling application.

The Relevance Engine is the world’s first smart platform to intelligently assess the relevance of any call, and automatically route that call to the most appropriate destination. iotum intelligently filters, ranks, and prioritizes calls based on their relevance to you. Using your contextual information and preferences, iotum knows who's calling, whether you want to take the call, and which phone you want to use. In my words, iotum brings David Allen's concepts of Getting Things Done to telecommunications by helpng manage presence by following the context we work in through the day. Press Release -
