Telephony, Regulation, and VoIP Article Gains Traction

I noted here a couple of weeks ago that I'd posted an article on Telephony, Regulation, and VoIP in the Reading Room on the VoIP Community site.

I'm among the first to admit that I don't feel I'm really an expert on the myraid of convoluted regulatory issues that face our industry. On the other hand, I've spent much of my career deailng with them in one form or another. I did note the kind comments from Bruce Stewart on the excellent O'Reilly Emerging Telephony blog. - Thanks Bruce!

I was asked by Ali Farshchian, the editor at Voiponder if they could post an excerpt over there. I don't know if you actively  read Voiponer or not, but I highly recommend it. Their contributor list includes networking notables like:

  •  Jon Arnold
  •  Susan Crawford
  • Irwin Lazar
  •  Brough Turner
  •  Martin Geddes
  •  Alec Saunders
  •  Geoff Huston
  •  David Isenberg
  •  James Enck
  •  Jack
  •  Scott Marcus
  •  Kevin Werbach
  •  Bob Frankston
  •  Brad Templeton
  •  Michael Geist
  •  Frank Paynter
  •  Peter Thermos
  •  James Seng
  •  Paul Mockapetris
  •  Aswath Rao
It's an honor to join that group of respected contributors to theh advancement of networking technologies. The expert is avalaible here. Thank you Ali.
