eBay's Dismal Failure

I can't say I've been really on top of the news about Skype today. I've been reading and absorbing. Here are the stories I've read

Andy Abramson - Management Shake Up At Skype
Jon Arnold - Niklas Zennstrom Steps Down From Skype
Stuart Henshall - Why VoIP Innovation Died with Skype (a compelling read)
Jim Courtney - The Metamorphosis Begins: New CEO Sought for Skype
Om Malik - Who’s Skype’s Daddy? Niklas Of Course
And of course the business views on Bloomberg and WSJ.

And then it struck me between the eyes, because I was just recently quoted from this post, but this one really says it. Skype's been in serious trouble for quite a while. And everything pointing otherwise has been smoke and mirrors - subterfuge.

And, like others, I can't help but wonder when the bell is going to toll for Meg Whitman. Ask not Meg. It surely tolls for thee.
