Scheinman to oversee Cisco media group

Cisco taps Scheinman to oversee media group
Dan Scheinman takes reins of Cisco’s newly formed Media Solutions Group

Cisco tapped an internal veteran to head a new group overseeing product development for digital media content companies.

Scheinman has been at Cisco for 14 years and most recently served as senior vice president of corporate development, steering Cisco through more than 40 acquisitions that included foundational purchases such as Linksys and Scientific-Atlanta.
