Nokia Mobile Phone Testing
Thanks to my friend Andy Abramson, and the Nokia Blogger Relations Program. I've now got new things to test. And while they're very neat new things, I just shelled out over $300 for SIM cards and minutes on T-Mobile to help ease experimenting with things like these.
A US charger got left out of the package, so I have no really effective way to get them up and running yet. I bought an auto charger. The N73 is up and running, but with very low battery. I charged the N93 a bit, but it may require a full deep-charge to work. Right now it just freezed on the Nokia startup screen.
First up here is the Nokia N73 cell phone. Sleek and sexy. This is a solid device with clean lines and nice look. Built in 3.2 megapixel camera. Some storage and media capability I'm going to have to investigate.
The next phone is the one I expect to be really putting through lots of paces. This is the Nokia N93.
Larger that many phones, but this one does so much (on the right network).
Did I tell you it has WiFi built in?
This mode is for video phone calls, something we can only dream of here in the US.
Yes, it's a full video camera, with mini-SDIO card for added storage. I'll be playing with this one. What I really want to see is how well this one can doa video blog post straight from phone to blog (probably via blip.tv, but still effective).
I'll be using the daylights out of both these phones and sharing what I find with you here as things unfold.
